Marois Is Going Down - PQ In Chaos...Maybe (Close Call)
Last two elections, PQ margin in Chalevoix was 1373 and 1663. Divided ADQ and Liberal vote let old local PQ warhorse in. Last time, ADQ candidate came 2nd. This time, no Liberal candidate. Straight PQ-ADQ fight. When Liberal voters leave Liberals, they go to 2-1 to ADQ vs. PQ. ADQ candidate is local boy, Marois is bourgeois Outremont outsider.
Do Charlevoix voters want a MNA who's leader of 3rd party enough to overturn every other indicator of ADQ victory? Going to be close. Marois may pull it out but I predict ADQ victory. Enough Liberals who can't stand Marois will show up just to vote against her. And how motivated are the PQ voters (Boisclair/Lemieux - Marois divisions)? While for ADQ voters, Marois represents everything they hate. By-elections are different, but I say ADQ vote holds, PQ vote unmotivated, Libs motivated enough to vote against Marois, Marois Loses, PQ in chaos.
