Lucky for everyone but taxpayers, Clement is also the federal industry minister responsible for a large federal slush fund called Investment Canada. And apparently there is nothing Uncle Tony and Investment Canada can’t solve for the good voters of his riding. If the media couldn’t go to Muskoka, why not bring cottage country to the media stuck in Toronto, eh? Investment Canada to the rescue, indoor lake and all.

PS. But maybe "Think: Drunk reporter falling in fake lake." is worth $2M+ ? I can think of a few whose work might be improved by a good dunking. What if entire media got dunked, to raise funds for charity and as punishment for past mistakes? A complete three-fer, help Muskoka tourism ('cause it needs it, right?), humble reporters and raise money for charity. Except for that whole troublesome taxpayer value-for-money thing.
