BC Gets It
Via Silver: BC'S LIBERALS STAND FIRM BEHIND LEADER STÉPHANE DION
VANCOUVER - British Columbia's Federal Liberal Council (BCFLC) unanimously voted Saturday to express its unqualified support for the Hon. Stéphane Dion as the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada until such time that the May 2009 Liberal Leadership convention produces a new Leader. The unanimous resolution also called for Mr. Dion to lead the Liberal Party in any potential coalition government. The BCFLC consists of BC's 36 Liberal Riding Association Presidents, its 4 Commission Presidents, and its Provincial Executive. "This resolution demonstrates that Liberals remain steadfast and united in support of Mr. Dion and his belief that serious and substantial action is required to address our current economic crisis," said Vancouver Quadra Liberal MP Joyce Murray, who was present for the vote.

He is the father of the Clarity Act. People forget: there was a referendum in 1995 where we almost lost Quebec nad hence the dream of Confederation that our Fathers of Confederation had for us in 1867. SO IF YOU LOVE CANADA, YOU SHOULD BE SO GRATEFUL AND WE ARE ALL FOREVER INDEBTED TO MR. DION FOR SAVING CANADA. Now, as for Dion's leadership abilities, he is a lot tougher than you think and actually has exceptional abilities. What has created this unfortunate perception is the Iggy team-especially in Quebec- they were undermining him the whole time as everyone already knows, so if your own party- and Deputy(Iggy)!!! is not supporting you, then it creates that perception and the media played along with it. So, if the coalition goes through on Monday, we should give Mr.Dion a chance-a REAL CHANCE to be leader this time and you watch he will be amazing!!!

Anon - do you forget that as soon as Dion was elected Leader the Cons came out with nearly 2 yrs. of the "Not a Leader" ads? You can't blame Iggy for everything.
