Liberal Senate Budget Solution: Atlantics Vote Against, Rest Absent

It would not just be illegitimate for the Senate to defeat or amend a
money bill, it would be unconstitutional. Most of our constitution is
unwritten since it is based on British parliamentary democracy. A
civil war, concluded by the execution of King Charles I in 1649, and
the Glorious Revolution of 1688 were fought in England over the
principle of parliamentary supremacy, most crucially, in the question
of who controls the nation's finances, the people's representatives or
unelected kings, etc.. The House of Commons is the people's chamber.
The people's representatives have absolute authority over finances.
The Senate, like unelected monarchies, does not.

Given the strength of feeling between senators from different regions
and within the Liberal Party, only Atlantic Liberal senators should
vote against the budget, all other Liberal senators should stay away,
and this way, the budget will pass, given Conservative numbers,
without the Liberal Party endorsing the budget while also permitting
Atlantic senators to vote their conscience without splitting the party
or engaging in unconstitutional activity.
